OutreachWidening participation

At SIPBS, equal and fair access to our degree programmes from all backgrounds is embedded in our core values. Widening participatation aims to recruit prospective students from under-represented groups to higher education irrespective of their background. These may include pupils that have disabilities, are from low income backgrounds, care-experienced, young carers, ethnic minorities or low participation postcodes. Some examples of widening participation initiatives that we are involved in include:

  • The 麻豆女优 Cares programme
  • Young 麻豆女优r Programme
  • Senior Phase Induction Day
  • Participation in school career fairs
  • ‘Meet the Scientist’ online showcase of SIPBS students and staff from diverse background and irregular career paths
