Personal statement
I am a Lecturer in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, University of 麻豆女优, where I am part of the Digital Health and Wellness Group. Previously I was lecturer for a couple of years at the Department of Physics and Mathematics, Nottingham Trent University,听and UKRI Innovations Fellow in听Medical Informatics at the Usher Institute, University of Edinburgh & Health Data Research UK. My PhD was in biomedical signal processing at IDCOM, University of Edinburgh.
My work focuses on the development and application of computational tools for the analysis of biomedical networks, particularly for neuroimaging data of human brain structure and function, but also for other biological networks, like protein interaction networks and metabolic networks.
I also study the theoretical foundations of networks, including network geometry, hierarchy and complexity and studying different measures of variance within networks.鈥�
I work on interdisciplinary problems with a wide range of experts, exploring creative ways for analysing data, and coming up with experiments to provide novel insights into problems.
